Applications Developer

We're looking for a very high level APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER with 12-15 years of experience in data integration and billing data mediation for a contract opportunity with the world's leading financial service. This Developer must have experience with High Volume Data Processing and specific experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware.

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Supervise the design, build or maintenance of websites, using authoring or Scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools and digital media
- Supervise the writing, design, or editing web page content
- Direct website updates
- Review problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and approve the correction of problem
- Advise and direct management or development teams to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria or choose solutions
- Direct development or validation of test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces
- Maintain understanding of current web technologies or programming practices through continuing education

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent training required
- 12+ years of related experience required
- Extensive experience in a Unix environment
- Expertise in Oracle SOA Suite
- Expert knowledge of computer hardware and software
- Expert knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of drawings and models
- Expert knowledge of computer software, such as Adobe, Java, SQL, etc.
- Expert ability to work independently and manage one's time
- Expert leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Active listening, persuasion, and negotiation skills
- Preference on industry background in Financial Applications and/or other ERP/CRM experience
- Must sit in Foster City

This contract position is expected to be 12 months in duration with possible extension.
