Application Support Analyst - UNIX, SQL, Perl Scripting.

Hatstand are currently looking for an experienced Equities IT Support Analyst with experience involving UNIX, SQL, Perl Scripting, equity markets/Fixed Income within the investment banking arena.

Equities IT Support Analyst who will be responsible for the production stability of trading applications and ensuring the ongoing process improvements to increase system availability and supportability

Experience in as many of the following areas as possible is desirable:

* UNIX
* SQL
* Perl Scripting
* Knowledge in client facing order management systems
* Knowledge with the FIX protocol and client connectivity
* Knowledge of the Equities markets
* Some experience of applications development (Java, C++) a plus.
* Knowledge of monitoring tools and techniques
* Written & verbal communication skills.

Application Support Analyst must come from a financial markets background with at least 2+ years recent experience within the sector. Candidates who do not meet this requirement will not be considered.
