Application Support Engineer (BIS/Mapper)

WE ARE LOOKING FOR APPLICATION SUPPORT ENGINEER FOR AN URGENT OPENING WITH ONE OF OUR ESTEEMED CLIENTS.

JOB TITLE: APPLICATION SUPPORT ENGINEER (BIS/MAPPER)
LOCATION: GRONINGEN - NETHERLANDS
JOB TYPE: CONTRACT

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THE POSITION:

- The contractor will be responsible for the implementation and configuration of application and maintaining SLAs defined.
- Supporting platform activities like capacity planning etc.
- Deploying the application build in the live environments.
- S/he should have knowledge of software applications such as databases and tools, particularly with regard to an organization's use of these systems.
- S/he will be a member of the ASG Team responsible to provide best application support for customers and coordinating between the customers and offshore team to resolve the issues at customer front.
- S/he will be involved in maintaining access to the systems for both users and development and testing personnel.
- S/he will identify & resolve issues related with the Servers that have direct impact to business.
- S/he will carry out updates and iterations to the application as required by the client.

SKILLS:

- BIS/Mapper programming knowledge,
- Understanding of principles of BIS/Mapper, power commands for data query and analysis functions.
- Understanding of MAPPER/BIS environment
- BIS Scripting and JavaScript Scripting.
