Application Support Analyst, NYC

A global investment bank in NYC, midtown, is currently looking for a full time, permanent employee to join their team in a Support capacity. This will be a "level 2" role, so you will be responsible for troubleshooting traders issues, before escalating. The role will be front office, on the trading floor, and will therefore be fast paced and high pressured. Hence, good communication skills, and a good mixture of technical (sql, unix, scripting etc) and financial knowlege is helpful. Salary is approx 115-145k.

The position offers a great opportunity to work in a dynamic Equities team and the primary function is to promote a stable production environment, understand and work to resolve questions from diverse groups of the business application users, technical users and management. As part of the release cycle for equities risk applications, the individual will participate in deploying upgraded features.
