APPLICATION SUPPORT ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in St. Louis, MO.

THE BIG PICTURE:

- The role requires on site coverage Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. with critical seasons covering 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Provide frontline support for internal and external users.
- Responsible for logging and resolving user issues, escalating issues to the appropriate person or team, and problem management.
- Create a strong relationship with organizational teams to allow the hand-off of issues needing in-depth analysis and resolution. Quickly assess and prioritize issues, evaluate risk, and determine next steps.
- Manage multiple competing priorities.
- These applications are used by both internal and external client customers, and include Real Time data flow, risk management, and reporting and analytics.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Be able to log incidents into incident management tool via email and/or phone requests
- Have the aptitude and desire to provide a world class support service to a geographically diverse user base
- Be able to communicate complex technical issues to business users in a language they understand
- Be able to manage a workload which is subject to changing priorities and demands
- Ensure all productions issues are logged and updated within TeamTrack
- Ensure resolutions and processes are documented in Knowledge Base
- Effectively share information with other support team members globally and with other technology teams
- Have the aptitude and desire to learn the fundamentals of the supported business area
- Have the aptitude to understand the relationships between interdependent systems
- Understand business terminology
- Translate business issues into technology requirements
- Possess strong client facing communication skills, in both verbal and written format
- Know when to use technical and non-technical language
- Interact with peers and management at all levels Technical Capabilities
- Have the ability to logically analyze problems and propose solutions
- Familiarity and knowledge on all specific platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communications communication skills; ability to intermediate between business and technology teams
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to troubleshoot issues; ability to create problem analysis from scratch; ability to exploratory and descriptive analysis of application problems
- Demonstrates an appreciation of a diverse workforce.
- Appreciates differences in style or perspective and uses differences to add value to decisions or actions and organizational success.
