Application Support Analyst - Java/Web Applications

Our client a leading IT Company based in Brussels have an urgent requirement for a bilingual (English, French and/or Dutch) Application Support Analyst with a minimum of 5 years experience supporting web applications ( web, application and database ) based on Java J2EE standards. We are searching for an experienced Application Support Analyst with experience in analysis and diagnosis of incidents that occur with web applications in a complex environment (load balancers, SSL termination, DB cluster).

The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with Java applications and web applications in a support role. The Application Support Analyst will NOT be responsible for development as this is purely a support role analysing Java J2EE and web applications (Web, application and database).

English, French and/or Dutch are a MUST for this role.

Skills/Knowledge:

- Experience in a support environment
- Experience with J2EE
- Experience with WCSM ( Web Content Management System )
- Incident Management, Release, Change and Configuration Management experience.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in technical support Web applications in an environment with three tiers (web, application and database ) based on the J2EE standard, with various backends third parties to communicate over SSL connections and Web
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Demonstrated experience in structured configuration, management of the versions, the methods of construction and publication in a J2EE environment, working as a coach of 1st line agents and as incident management help improve the 1st line.
