This is a great opportunity to work with a multitude of technologies including but not limited to Java, .NET, SharePoint, SQL Server, Oracle.

This is an initial 6 month contract in a newly created team and there is the opportunity to gain new skills whilst also imparting knowledge to others.

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Contribute to the analysis of system problems, collaborating with Business Analysts, Senior Developers and other IT staff to determine functional requirements and contribute to solution options. 
- Analyse and document business requirements to guide program design and development to ensure users needs are addressed
- Liaises with internal stakeholders to identify business needs and perform thorough analysis to evaluate potential technological solutions.
- Identify the right technological solution to best meet the needs of users and more broadly the needs of the company. 
- The position takes into account the environment, the company policies and practices, user needs, existing platforms and the advice and expertise of its colleagues in determining appropriate solutions.

You should have the following skills and experience:

- Prior application support experience
- Ability to debug Java
- Familiarity with SQL based relational databases (Oracle or SQL Server)
- Experience in an ITIL environment
- Customer focussed approach experience
- Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders
- Desirables include: SharePoint and the ability to debug .NET.
