Application Support Analyst

A position has opened up within fast paced Banking organisation based in Glasgow, for an experienced Application support Analyst.

The successful candidate will preferable have proven experience.

Key Responsibilities:

*The role holder will be an application support analyst supporting Avaloq roles to provide production support for UKBR.

*The role holder will be instrumental in the support of the UK Business across these strategic applications working closely with Build teams and the Business in providing a stable and future proof service for the bank..

*This is a challenging role that requires strong technology skills as well as a good understanding of data analysis. We are interested in individuals who can bring new ideas to the team and can implement those ideas.

*The role holder will at ease discussing business and technical issues, working with other Application Support and Development Teams to understand problem areas and to proactively contribute to short and long term solutions.

The Candidate must have:

*Unix/Linux
*SQL on databases: SQL Server or Oracle
*Websphere or other leading Application Server
*MQ or Tibco knowledge
*ETL skills (Informatica desirable)
*Skilled and experienced in system monitoring techniques.

It would be beneficial to have:

*Datamodelling/mining
*Java or other functional language
*Autosys Job Scheduler
*ITIL v3 qualified - to at least foundation level
