HP ALM experience is an advantage (Formerly HPQC)

Experience in (Express) Finance, specifically Billing and Pricing Application (Advantage)

Stakeholder management between users and technical teams

Ability to learn new concepts quickly and effectively increasing knowledge base technically and theoretically

Good time keeping, task management and organizational skills

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

This role requires the candidate to work with project manager to achieve a structured analysis of customer requirements to help plan the deployment phase including all testing phases.

Pro-actively provides advice, support and monitoring to be ahead of potential issues; as well as be reactive in the required circumstances to those engaged in activities where technical expertise are required.

Carries out specific assignments related to their technical expertise, either alone or as part of a team in order to achieve the milestone.

Deploy applications as per the standard process, including patches and upgrades.

Analysis of functional, technical and business requirements to help contribute to the design, build and implementation of the solution.

Plans, executes and supports implementations so the applications themselves are deployed with minimal disruption to the production environment.

Investigates problems and other requests for support and determines appropriate actions.

Liaise with staff responsible for the development of the system to overcome known problems and related bugs. Interface and give guidance to the development team.

Supports planned and ad-hoc Business testing in end-to-end environments.

Maintain and manage testing suite.

Define and create test cases for functional and non-functional specifications (such as reliability, efficiency, usability, maintainability and portability).

Produce test scripts, materials and regression test packs to test new and amended software.

Specify requirements for environment, data, resources and tools (including testing suite).

Record and analyse results, including maintaining a defect register.

Reviews test results from technical testing and modify tests if necessary.

Produces reports on system quality and metrics on test cases.
