Application Specialist

Voor onze klant in Den Haag ben ik op zoek naar een Application Specialist. Het is een project voor 7 maanden met optie op verlenging.

The activities of the Application Specialist include: - Ensure efficient and effective service delivery to ensure Service Level Agreements for the Smart Solutions landscape - Manage service and suport delivery through the Managed Service - Own and manage the technical solutions and integrity of the landscapes for new solutions as well as new releases of existing solutions - Ensure all technical solutions are in line with Shell IT standards and standard IT services. - Contribute to Top Quartile performance in costs and processes - Support the planning, control and execution of project activities, including transition to support

Technical Skills and Experience:

- Significant experience (around 5 years) in delivering and supporting business applications and services, preferably in Shell (applications hosted on standard ITSO infrastructure and services).
- Evidence of strong technical knowledge of and experience with the following IT components: Windows 2008 R2 SQL 2008 R2 and SSIS 2008 BizTalk 2010, IIS 7.x and .NET 4.x SharePoint 2007 and 2010

Soft Skills and Experience:

Strong communication in Dutch and English (verbal and written)
Strong interpersonal skills
Experience with working across organisational boundaries, different cultures and different time zones in a global virtual environment
Strong stakeholder management skills (business and IT stakeholders)
Strong influencing skills
Master IT service management processes (ITIL - Incident, Problem, Change, Release and Request Management)
