Application QA Analyst

Job Title: Application QA Analyst

Type: Contract- 6 months

Location: Suwanee, GA

Our client has an immediate opening for an Application QA Analyst for a 6 month contract in Suwanee, GA. This role will be expected to write and maintain test cases, and perform application testing, including regression testing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop and maintain test plans, manual and automated test scripts for user interface, functionality, system and regression testing
- Execute regression tests, functional tests and data tests
- Document quality assurance results and practices
- Report, track and determine priority of reported bugs

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

- BS or computer related degree
- Well-versed in all testing methodologies (white vs. Black Box test work, system vs. functional)
- Well-versed in software process methodologies
- A solid understanding of quality assurance as part of the development process
- Detail oriented and a problem solver
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with an automated testing toolset
- SQL Server
- 3 years of application testing experience, Scripting or programming a plus
