Application Performance Specialist (z/OS) - 60% wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- University Degree in computer science with experience in performance analysis and reporting
- Expertise in Cobol programming as well as a sound knowledge of DB2 (V10), SQL and z/OS Mainframes
- Experience in the areas of BMW Mainview, Apptune and Tritune/APC as well as familiarity with performance measurement and tuning in any related ares
- Ability to work in a complex, diverse and global environment
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
YOUR TASKS:
- Analyzing in test environments as well as ensuring delivery of application code and system configuration in high quality
- Reporting over production environments and providing trend views and input for capacity planning
- Supporting various customers with tuning trends, forecasts and problem solving
- Presenting performance tuning measures in the area of Cobol with DB2/SQL and MQ Series in CICS transactions
- Helping the application developers in the Mainframe are
