APPLICATION PACKAGING ENGINEER

APPLICATION PACKAGING/COORDINATION/DESKTOP SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Start: Immediate

Contract - 3 months + Potential Extension

Location: Prague

KEY SKILLS

- Extensive experience with Desktop Application Support.
- Experience In the support of applications packaged for Microsoft App-V and Windows Installer technologies.
- Excellent abilities in stakeholder management/coordination in a high-pressure environment.
- Good knowledge of vendor specific customisation toolsets (eg Microsoft Office and Adobe customisation toolkits)
- Able to create custom VB and Batch scripts to assist with application installation
- English skills - excellent
- Will be leading daily packaging progress meetings with the packaging vendor and daily meetings with migration project teams
- Coordinate prioritization of packaging efforts
- Early identification of technical issues in relation to packaging and deployment
- Technical consultation with regards to applications and packaging
- Analysis of multiple packaging requests for re-usability of existing packages

Skill Set:

- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory services in the enterprise.
- Experience of App-V technologies in the enterprise.
- Experience in the support of applications packaged with Microsoft App-V technologies.
- Excellent knowledge of vendor specific customisation toolsets (eg Microsoft Office and Adobe customisation toolkits)
- The ability to create custom VB and Batch scripts to assist with application installation, customization and functionality
