A respected international tier-1 banking client of mine is seeking an Application Packaging and Deployment Engineer for a job opportunity in Zürich.

This bank has always been at the forefront of technology advancements and development of banking applications, and they currently need an Application Packaging and Deployment Engineer for application packaging and application deployment in a Unix, Solaris, Linux environment. As the Application Packaging and Deployment Engineer in Zürich, you will be a part of the Integration team and will be responsible for preparing the release of in-house applications related to access management. Your role will primarily be focused on application packaging and application deployment; creation of application packages, creation and maintenance of application deployment scripts, deployment of applications in TEST and DEV environments. Within this role you will also be responsible for the infrastructure of the application: provision the UNIX Servers, plan and perform Oracle database upgrades, load balancing and BCM/DR set up, and creating database baseline for releases as well as setting up Oracle PKI

- Strong UNIX Scripting, Shell Scripting skills
- Good UNIX packaging skills
- Knowledge of DevOps tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, Maven, SVN
- Automation knowledge
- Fluent in English
