Application Packager - SCCM, APP-V, Windows 7/8, VBS, MS Batch Files a

Application Packager - SCCM, APP-V, Windows 7/8, VBS, MS Batch Files and Powershell is required by my client based in Peterborough for a 3 month contract.

Technical Skills and Experience:

Self-supporting, and capable of leading work packages
Recent experience of upgrading a large desktop estate to Windows 7/8
Experience of creating a desktop build for deployment through SCCM
Capable of packaging a wide variety of apps using APP-V
Capable of working through application deployment problems
Recent experience of a VDI deployment
Capable of working in a pressurised environment to short timescales
Experience with and detailed knowledge of Server Operating Systems at least Windows 2008 R2.
Experience with and detailed knowledge creating and editing GPO's to ensure that applications work as desired and are configurable for disparate user groups.
Experience of Scripting, VBS, MS Batch Files & Powershell.
Knowledge of a replication technology such as DFS would be beneficial.

Role Description:

You will be required to package a number of applications following an upgrade to Windows 7 & Office 2013. There will be direct interaction with customers, some evening/weekend required and you will have the ability to work in a team or individually.
