Application Package Manager GENT BELGIUM 1 Year
The successful candidate will be part of the software packaging team within the WPI organization (Workplace Infrastructure) IAM. This team is responsible for the packaging of all the software for Workstation and Server environment.
The employee will be deployed in the full packaging- and distribution process
Analysis of the application
Packaging the software (Wise AdminStudio)
Performing quality control and supervision of the functional tests
Third level incidents of workplace
Scripting
Document
Communicating with stakeholders (IT, business, end users, suppliers)
The work includes both operational tasks such as project work (to participate in migrations, new technologies, new target platforms, developing new working methods)
An integration into the Watchkeeping (4 to 5 weeks per year) is possible.
Technical profile
Minimum 5 years' experience in IT
Profound knowledge requires Windows
Thorough knowledge Msi technology required
Minimum 2 years' experience in software packaging
Knowledge Scripting (PowerShell)
Plus
Experience with System Center Configuration Manager and/or System Center Suite
Experience Wise AdminStudio
Experience with Windows 7/Windows 10
Programming experience in .Net
Social profile
Communicative, can work well in teams
Able to work independently and have enough sense of responsibility
Driven to make deliveries on time
Flexible to take on new tasks and priorities
Dutch language is mandatory
Start time: ASAP (start date can be discussed but a quick start is desirable)
Planned duration: for a longer period
