Application Interface Developer

Beacon Hill Technologies has an opening on a contract-to-hire basis ASAP.

The Application Interface Developer will work closely with our Product Management Team, Computer Human Interaction Specialist, Quality Assurance, and Back End Software Development Team to create user friendly applications that solve the communication problems of the 21st century. Team members on this project will be skilled in the usual suspects of web application development (HTML, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, ASP.Net, and C#).

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely with the Manager of Software Development and software development team to accomplish development tasks on schedule and within budget
Work collaboratively with a team to translate Front End user web designs specs to build cutting edge, highly intuitive web pages, applications and products
Interpreting graphic visual or interaction designs in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Creating visually appealing web pages or interfaces
Creating, editing or modifying templates for a CMS or web development framework
Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS
Testing cross-browser, cross-platform, and/or cross-device compatibility for inconsistencies
Conducting observational user testing, or reviewing designs against usability heuristics

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Associates Degree with equivalent work experience
2-5+ years' Front End Software Development experience
Expert knowledge of HTML/HTML 5/CSS3
Experience with responsive design web development.
JavaScript
Experience with libraries such as AngularJS, jQuery, Breeze.js, and Moment.js
Processes for troubleshooting and debugging
Familiarity with development and debugging tools for cross-browser issues
Understand and apply key server-side web development concepts such as bower, grunt, and node.js
Experience with Ruby and Rails a plus.
