Application Engineer - Technical Customer Support (m/w)

For our client, a global R&D Chip Provider we are looking for an Application Engineer - Technical Customer Support (m/f) on a freelance basis for Munich (f/m)

Project duration: 6 Months +
Location: Munich

Tasks:
* First line worldwide technical customer support for Intel uCPE Products with focus on WAN Interfaces/Modems for Copper DSL, G.Fast and Fibre PON.
* Analysis of reported technical customer issues.
* Issue solving in close cooperation with internal R&D and global support teams.
* Design-In support for top customer projects.
* Technical support for opportunity development, promotion and qualification.
* Individual customer requirements engineering, support coordination, issues tracking and status reporting.
* Technical trainings, customer demos and presentations.
* Main technical interface for selected key customers and strategic partners.

Skills:
*Experience with Communication Systems, especially CPEs / Home Gateways, Network Processor and IP Technologies. Expertise in DSL and Fiber/PON desired.
* Experience in measurement techniques Spectrum analyzer, logic analyzer, GHz-oscilloscope, BERT, Protocol Tester
* Experienced in C/C++, embedded Linux and real-time Programming, Communication SW / Protocol Stacks.
* Independent working style with strong ability to work in a global Team.
* Strong customer orientation * At least 5 years working experience.

Languages: Written and spoken English know-how is demanded.
