Application Engineer SAP ISU

The Application Engineer of AMS is supporting in the life cycle of the SAP ISU application. He/she is supporting the Application Manager in the maintenance of the product life cycle.
The Application engineer will execute small projects (SMACs)

LIST of activities

SMACs & ticketing solution:
Execute SMACs and tickets solutions in design, in build and in test to be ready for implementation
Coordination with business in the business acceptance testing
Ensuring that the standards & governance principles of the applications are followed within his/her responsibility area
Identify and manage overlaps with other SMACS and/or projects impacting the same applications (version control)
Support release management in the implementation of SMACS & ticketing solution
Ensuring that the documentation is updated
Propose improvements to Application Managers

Maintain his/her applications by:
Supporting first and second level support for IT applications, in co-operation with other operation departments
Responsible for third level support
Reporting and ensuring follow up of quality issues
Supporting quality, maintainability of source code asset, and knowledge continuity (hand-over, documentation, sourcing)
Supporting security standards for both applications and information
Supporting version management
Documenting all recurring actions in the service request catalog

TECHNICAL DOMAINS
SAP ISU billing & invoicing functionalities
ABAP knowledge is a must
Working knowledge of SAP structures, object dependencies and tables.
Demonstrated capability in billing rate analysis, design, facts, configuration, and schemas.
Understanding of the integration points of the SAP ISU Utilities billing and invoicing modules with other modules such as Print workbench, FICA, CRM, DM and BW reporting.

PROFILE
The ideal candidate has a university degree in exact sciences (preferably economy or IT) or has gained equivalent knowledge by relevant work experience
The ideal candidate has 5 years of work experience SAP ISU
Strong technical skills with deep knowledge of application management methods and tools
Excellent people skills including strong communication and negotiation skills, analytical skills, strong interpersonal and management skills
Ability to work under pressure and in a stressful environment
Ability to gather business requirements and translate them to technical requirements/solution design.
The ideal candidate has a knowledge on the energy market in Belgium
The ideal candidate is business proficient in Dutch or French and English
