Application Engineer - PCB Design

CONTRACT APPLICATIONS ENGINEER (CAD/CAM)

With experience of PCB design and using CAD/CAM software you will have varied responsibilities including providing detailed, user based feedback on requirements and functional specifications, evaluation and testing of new features, designing product demonstrations, creating data sheets and creating training courses for internal and external users. As a career Engineer you will be an expert in manufacturing processes with extensive experience of a variety of design packages, your knowledge will command respect from your colleagues and you will utilise your varied skill set to take ownership of the various aspects of this position.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Experience of designing a PCB using CAD software.
- Good knowledge of the PCB design/manufacture process.
- Ability to provide accurate and professional feedback where attention to detail is essential.
- Working knowledge of Windows based OS.
- Ability to work unsupervised and under own initiative.
- Enthusiastic, versatile and self-motivated.
- The ability to fit well into a team.

With flexible working hours and excellent onsite facilities this is an initial 6 month contract that is likely to extend.
