Application Engineer/Commissioning Engineer - DCS/SIS, Offshore

The successful applicant shall meet all of the following criteria: * 3-5 Years experience with control systems including 1-2 years with Centum VP and ProSafeRS * In accordance with government, regulatory and company policies, the position will require a valid TWIC, Safe Gulf certification, Helicopter Underwater Egress Training (HUET), and any other requirements or certifications and/or training as may be required or introduced to work on a deepwater offshore production facility in the Gulf of Mexico * The initial assignment will be to provide Yokogawa technical support during Topsides and Hull integration commissioning activities as a member of an integrated team working a 10 days on 4 days off schedule at the fabrication site. This period is expected to last through November of 2013. Following the successful completion of activities at the fabrication site, the role will transition to support the offshore HUC campaign working 14 days on 14 days off schedule through "First Oil", estimated at October 2014. Following "First Oil", the position will continue to provide technical support on the same schedule for a period of up to two years. Specific technical skills required for the role will include: * Experienced with troubleshooting Centum VP and Prosafe platforms including, but not limited to Hardware, Software, VNET, etc * Experienced with routine maintenance for the Centum VP System * Experienced with Foundation Fieldbus systems, HART and auxiliary systems including PRM and ValveLink. * Able to perform troubleshooting on Foundation Fieldbus instruments and configuration * Competent in making program changes to both DCS and Safety systems whilst ensuring a rigorous management of change process is followed and enforced * Competent in making changes to existing and developing new HIS graphics. * Ability to analyze and understand existing logic in both DCS and Safety systems and be able to make modifications to support safe operations * Ability to perform troubleshooting on network functionality including servers and switches that reside on a Windows Active Directory environment * Ability to modify or add tags in Exaopc and Exaquantum for trending purposes
