DESCRIPTION:

Sperry Partners Group is urgently looking for a Application Engineer for a major customer in Belgium. Please see below for more details:

ROLE:

- The Application Engineer is the guardian of the operational application landscape technically.
- He/She has technical expertise and sufficient knowledge of the functional operation of an application to control the quality of all the changes that happen to this application in order to ensure the operational availability, stability and performance.
- He/She is responsible for the production, acceptance and transition set of new application versions and bug fixes and provides 2nd level support to internal and external customers with operational issues.

TASKS:

1. Number of expertise:

- Applications, technologies, ...

2. Analytical ability:

- Technical and functional knowledge of the application
- Perform fault analysis (RCA) for incidents

3. Quality:

- Perform quality control on new application versions and bug fixes
- Create and up-to-date operational documentation

4. Autonomy:

- Work independently and make decisions
- Take ownership and coordinate various parties
