For my client in Belgium, I am actively searching an Application Development Functional Architect to be part of the Architecture team', that is the link between the business team (delivers business requirements) and the IS Development team' (functional and technical analysis & programming). The Architect needs to speak fluent French OR Dutch and have notions of the other language. This is a 12 months contract with option to extend.
The Application Development Functional Architect deals on a daily basis with senior management, peers and junior staff, both internally and externally, with business and professional skills in Information Technology.
To function effectively, the Application Development Functional Architect is required to conceptualize and think abstractly, work and manage in a technically complex and heterogeneous environment, and effectively communicate with all levels of management.
The main activities of the Application Development Functional Architect is:
- Solution & Application Architecture (Functional & Technical)
- Architecture Reference (Functional & Technical) documentation
- Functional (& Technical) Support and Coaching
- Application Design Monitoring
- High-Level System testing (preparation)
- Define & Improve the process, the tools used in the architecture phase.
The Application Development Functional Architect needs to have the following skills and experience:
- Strong interest for Business Process Analysis
- Good knowledge in modelling applications and processes, functional analysis
- Experience in solution analysis
- Deed knowledge and experience of architecture: Service Oriented Architecture, design patterns, architecture methodologies
- Building and construction functional design of insurance applications parts
- Developing of the whole picture
- Fluent French OR Dutch and have notions of the other language
