Application Developer w/JAVA/J2EE for Murex (2150)

For a project at our banking client site in Zurich, we are looking for a skilled

APPLICATION DEVELOPER W/JAVA/J2EE FOR MUREX (2150)

KNOWLEDGE

- Very good core Java and Advanced JEE knowhow and knowledge of the I/O, Multithreading and Transaction Management.
- Good Knowledge in Design patterns
- Good knowledge of WebServices, Hibernate or JPA, preferably with the JAP landscape
- Good understanding of the IT domain overall, with special attention for networks and distributed applications
- Good Database, modelling and SQL knowledge, preferable Oracle
- Knowledge of build tools and IDEs and knowledge of control versioning systems
- THE WORKING LANGUAGE IS ENGLISH, IN AN OPEN AND MULTICULTURAL ENVIRONMENT. GERMAN SPEAKING IS NOT MANDATORY BUT SEEN AS AN ADVANTAGE
- FINANCIAL DOMAIN KNOWLEDGE IS NOT REQUIRED BUT SEEN AS AN ADVANTAGE

EXPERIENCE

- Degree or higher education in Information Technology and/or Business/Economics or equivalent
- Good knowledge of OTC Products and general Business know-how and some years of practical experience
- Knowledge of trading and Back Office systems in international banking environment
- OUTSTANDING KNOWLEDGE OF FRONT TO BACK OFFICE.
- Familiar with iterative development styles and fast turnaround in a tight team
- STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND GOOD LANGUAGE SKILLS IN ENGLISH AND GERMAN
- Drive for high quality and working with other internationally oriented organizational units to achieve common goal
- Experience in Equities, Fixed Income or other OTC products would be advantageous, in addition to any experience of interfacing with Murex, but this is not essential.
