We're seeking an experienced, self-motivated Senior Technical Developer with 5+ years of strong development experience. This Dev will be responsible for working with Technical Lead/Architect, functional analysts and other developers to implement and maintain a large enterprise eCommerce B2B system. S/He will play a critical role in, design, development, implementation and support of the application with integrations to third party commerce systems. The ideal candidate will be involved throughout the entire life cycle of high complexity projects including, but not limited to: research and analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, training, and documentation - following and evolving standards and procedures.

SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Collaborates with functional analysts, other Information Technology (IT) teams and senior application developers and developer leads to arrive at recommendations for technology decisions. This includes package selection, and systems design and modifications. Initiates process improvements for new and existing systems.
- Designs, develops, implements, documents, and tests changes to an application subsystem. Codes, tests, debugs, documents, and implements complex software applications. Creates more complex prototypes and ensures deliverables are high quality and meet user expectations. Supports system and integration testing activities. Initiates design reviews for new applications and adheres to software development standards.
- Coaches, and mentors other team members. Performs cross-training and facilitates information sharing among team members.
- Collaborates with Functional Analysts in completing deliverables. Translates business requirements and functional designs into technical designs. Assists with development of functional designs and resolves complex design issues. Acts as senior technical expert to analyze the business needs.
- Participates in a production support rotation that includes pager responsibilities.
- Resolves or assists with escalated software application issues as needed. Develops and executes plans to mitigate occurrence and reoccurrence of production issues. Oversees and contributes to the documentation of production support processes. Anticipates long term support issues and plans for corrective actions. Collaborates with support teams to ensure complex issues are resolved in a timely manner. Performs root cause analysis to identify permanent resolutions to software or business process issues. - Coordinate work efforts across CRM functional areas (applications, interfaces, data warehouse, etc.)
- Integrate application support efforts with concurrent, parallel application development efforts

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

- Requires 8+ years' experience in the IT industry
- Requires 5+ years hands-on experience delivering web based E-commerce solutions
- Experience with Hybris Technologies and Java frameworks
- Requires 2+ years expertise in Cloud processing and working with Software as a service models
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in programming languages
- Ability to quickly learn new application systems and technologies
- Knowledge of basic project management framework and methodology
- Ability to accurately break down complex application designs into component deliverables and estimate design and development timelines
- Strong Systems Life Cycle methodology experience required
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross functional team, dealing with ambiguity and prioritizing work
- Good communication skills a must: ability to provide clear message and direction
- Analytical skill to assess and troubleshoot with minimal guidance

KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Experience using Java, PHP, JavaScript, YUI, CSS, HTML, Java Shell
- Experience in high volume order processing
- Experience in working with DBA to performance tuning, Oracle preferred
- Experience writing SQL, PL/SQL and using SQL loader
- Experience with integrating internal and external data sources with Hybris
- Experience in data migrations and EIM processes.
- Ability to understand customer order data and analytical thinking to process flow of information
- Need to be able to document with balance of technical details and functional clarification
- Experience with a web commerce application, such as Hybris, ATG, Web Sphere
- Experience with development and support for application using Java EE and Spring Framework
- Experience with team development, such as Subversion, Source Safe
- Experience with JSP, Web UI
- Know how to use Eclipse
- Must be an expert at Object Oriented Analysis (OOA), Object Oriented Design (OOD), Object Oriented Programming (OOP), workflow, transaction life cycles, component models, and software design patterns
- ZK framework a plus
- Knowledge of Jasper Report a plus

GENERAL IT SKILLS

- Experience in Application support - Problem diagnosis and resolution
- Expertise in interpretation of functional requirements
- Ability to develop technical design specifications for complex projects
- Web development skills such as Java, JavaScript, and .NET
- Expert in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Experience with the Unified Modeling Language (UML) modelling
- Experience in the layout and architecture planning for integrating multiple platforms
- Experience with data mapping, data modelling, Scripting
- Expertise in industry standard development methodologies
- Experience in Middleware integration using tools like Web Methods
- Good working knowledge of WCF Services including deployment as a Windows Service and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of team foundation server for source code management.
- Good understanding of industry standards and best practices to be able to conduct code reviews
- Strong problem solving and analytic skills to translate business requirements into systems solutions
