Role Description:
Analyse, design and implement application features in a combination of technologies such as Java, GWT, Hibernate, J2EE, OSGi. Delivery of a service monitoring application, corresponding reporting and administration dashboard, and service probing agents which gather service health across the platforms. The role of each team member is transversal across areas of the development activities. As such, members are all responsible for development, testing, documentation, system administration, and so on.
Skills:
- Experienced Java developer, OSGi knowledge is a plus
- Working knowledge of XML transformation chains, XSL, XSLT
- Database languages and abstraction frameworks: JDBC, SQL, Hibernate
- Web development: Servlets, basic I/O, JSP, GWT knowledge is a plus
- Tools: Maven, SVN"
