DESCRIPTION:

As a ColdFusion Application Architect you are an expert in using that technology to engineer solutions on corporate levels with multiple client; you are also experienced in dynamic programming tools and languages of the Web. You are able to work independently as well as be part of a team that builds and integrates interactive web sites, web-enabled applications, and services for both internal and public sites.

Your role is to make it work, which means developing Web applications and testing them on various browsers, with a specific view on corporate needs and complex architectures to serve multiple stakeholders. You share the responsibility of Quality Assurance and verify the consistency of solutions in place with a critical approach in view of improvements, enhancing and modifying them as necessary to ensure the best experience for the user. You develop new functionalities according to evolving needs in compliance.

As a senior web developer, you architect websites and design web applications. You communicate project status, issues, and solutions. You always look at architecture critically, and make relevant recommendations or propose different technical solutions if appropriate.

MANDATORY SKILLS:

Perfect ColdFusion Expertise, including version 10.

Experience migrating between ColdFusion versions.
-

10+ years of experience in Newsroom applications.
-

Proven experience of building application interfaces for Sharepoint and ECM Documentum.

In depth knowledge of Application Architecture covering with multi stakeholder clients setup on single instances.

Database modelling and building (MySQL, Oracle).
-

Analysis, prototyping, design, programming, testing, installation, customization, technical documentation.

Excellent knowledge of web technologies: CSS, HTML, Javascript, XML.

Very good professional proficiency of both French and English.

Ability to give technical presentations and administer trainings.
-

Experience using JIRA and Confluence tools.

ADDITIONAL DESIRED SKILLS:

Experience with Selenium HQ automated tests.

Experience with other CMS systems, especially Drupal.
-

Knowledge of other EU languages is considered an asset.
