Application Architect - Long term Contract

ROLE:
Application architect
In the framework of their activities in the areas of application architecture, and more specifically within the Smart User program, our customer is looking for an Application Architect .
In the ICT aspect of the current pilot phase, we want the application landscape ready to support the new market processes ( MIG6 ) by a combination of :
- The purchase of new applications ;
- Adapting and expanding our current applications ;
- The integration of the old and new components into a cohesive and collaborative whole.
For all that to lead them in the right direction, we seek to strengthen an application architect ( Solution Architect ). He or she will strengthen the existing architecture team, take on the role of the architect in the Smart User program and report to the ( internal ) architect responsible for that program .
Specific tasks include :
- Assessment of the proposed solutions ( nav specifications ) on quality and integrality ;
- The implementation and integration of these solutions into the landscape design ;
- Plan to mark ( blueprint ) with the necessary modifications to the existing applications ;
with a focus on integration of new systems into the existing landscape.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
1. Thorough knowledge of the Belgian energy market model and the market
Detailed knowledge of the processes and between market (MIG4 and MIG6).
Knowledge of utilities, vendors/operators.
Understanding of the architecture of a DNB within the Flemish regulations in the field of systems, application components, interfaces, master data.
2. Thorough knowledge of change by/for introducing smart meters.
3. Functional and technical knowledge of SAP as an ERP system, Knowledge of SAP ISU and MDUS architecture are a must.
4. Thorough knowledge of application integration and Middleware adhv EAI (preferably with SAP PO) and BPM/BRM components.
Proven long-term experience with the liberalization of the energy market and/or unbundling.
Proven experience in multiple projects with complex integration issues
At least 7 years of experience as a Solution Architect
Minimum 5 years experience in the utility sector, preferably in Flanders.
Proven experience in a architectenrol in Smart Meters and MIG projects
Experience in assessing and scoring of Proposals on specifications
