Application Architect - 6 Months + Belgium - English Speaking

(application architect, solution architect, Java architect, development architect)

My blue chip client based in Belgium are looking for an application/solution architect to join their team on a long term contract basis.

As application and integration architect you will be responsible for:

-the design creating IT solutions that meet the functional and non-functional requirements of our partners. You are helping to build our application landscape consisting of on-premise, cloud applications, packaged solutions and own developments.
-the provide support for the IT solution for both the developer and the project team as the experts.
-the identification of risks in the IT field and to facilitate decisions by our client in the evaluation of alternative solutions, the evolution of the reference architecture with the general developments in the IT field within the company, as an advantage for the business can yield
-the monitoring architecture realization by expert teams - documenting architecture decisions artifacts - the architecture governance by contributing to the necessary governance processes.

In summary your task is the development of applications/solutions for the necessary IT projects.
After working out the solutionyou must also monitor project and provide support/advice.

They are looking for a Software Developer (Java) which has grown to Software Designer and later became IT Solution Architect.

Knowledge of ArchiMate and TOGAF (MEGA) is necessary. Application developed within the company are in Java and Mainframe.

English speaking is fine with Dutch a nice to have but not essential.

Client is looking for someone to join their team long term so as well as technology motivation to work for the customer will be a key factor.

Location in Belgium: Client has 3 offices nr Brussels, Gent and Leuven and happy to candidate to work from either.
