Application Architect

Candle ICT are working with our client who are looking to engage the services of an additional Application Architect for 6 months. We are keen to find someone to start ASAP.

We are searching for an experienced Application Architect who is skilled enough to work across multiple application related projects. This calls for a generalist who is up for a challenge and willing to dig deep for the cause of the team. As such we are looking for someone who demonstrates the following experience and capabilities:

- Application/Software Design patterns
- Problem Analysis & Improvement Analysis
- Tiered Application Design
- Web application platforms eg Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic
- Application Development tooling
- Understanding of Data Modeling and Data Integration
- Ability to work at conceptual architecture level as well as physical solution design level
- Any experience in SAP or Peoplesoft would be highly desirable
