Appian Business Process Analyst Job

APPIAN BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Herndon, Virginia.

POSSESSION OF OR THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN A PUBLIC TRUST SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

- Appian BPM experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Work with key client stakeholders to define and document business processes including functional and technical system requirements
- Design BPM based solutions using Appian BPM software
- Deliver client presentations, facilitate Joint Application Design sessions, and assist in the completion of required deliverables
- Provide demonstrations to clients throughout the entire project life cycle

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Experience in modelling business processes and developing process architectures
- Ability to analyze platform constraints and design solutions considering limitations
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous work streams, including projects and program initiatives, and prioritize, manage, and execute effectively with compressed time lines and ambiguous tasking
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of and complete relatively complex tasks, effectively using available resources, as needed, with minimal guidance
- Work closely with development and test teams to interpret functional and non-functional requirements required to build the target BPM system
- Experience with application development methodologies such as Agile including writing user stories and epics
- Strong problem solving and design skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Has or has the ability to obtain a public trust security clearance

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Strong experience with Appian 7.6 or above
- Ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences through the use of documentation and user demos
- Coordinate with management and staff engaged in application development, coding, testing, user acceptance testing and production to ensure that business requirements are consistently represented and satisfied
- Experience with providing functional testing support and managing user acceptance testing efforts
- Experience in identifying solution risks and developing mitigation strategies
- Ability to provide support for applications in production by tracking production problems and troubleshooting them to sustain application in production
- Good understanding of business processes related to Federal Acquisition processes
- Five plus (5+) years of related experience in a related consulting position ideally in BPM
