API Architect - SME

Yoh has a multi-year contract opportunity for an API ARCHITECT - SME (SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT) to join our client in Redmond, WA.

- Contributes through own development of advanced technologies/concepts with global reach or industry application.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops design and integration of systems including subsystems.
- Creates Service Specifications and designs linking into overall API architecture.
- Coordination with Foundry, Architecture, Program, and Marketing is required.
- Supports individual releases and realizes requirements into production.
- Owns and is responsible SME for multiple API's in API Platform, and owns Northbound Architecture.
- Responsible for requirements, user stories, and design validation of API's into production.
- Accountable for overall user experience for the Developer.
- Tier 4 Production support responsibility.
- Designs, develops, documents and analyzes overall systems, including hardware and software.
- Determines integrated hardware and software solutions that meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security needs.

Job Qualifications:
- Experience in design, analysis, development, testing, deployment and maintenance of web-based Client Server applications.
- Experience in HTML5, SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, SDK/IDE technologies, sample applications in various languages (Java, Javascript, PHP, Ruby, etc.), web security, 3-tiered architecture, southbound services (messaging, speech, payment, call management, etc.) and device technologies (Android, iOS, native wrappers, etc.).
- Experience working with database systems, preferably Oracle.
- Ability to work in both Unix and Windows environment.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment
- BS degree in Engineering/Math/Science
- Knowledge in transport network technology (Protocols, equipment, services)

Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of IT architecture.
- Master's degree in Engineering/Math/Science.
