ANIMAL CARE TECH needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in FORT WORTH, TX.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Husbandry
- ALAT

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Provide all aspects of husbandry and care to research
- Recognize and report common signs of clinical illness and/or irregularities in all laboratory
- Assist in routine technical procedures in support of colony health and research procedures; identification techniques; administer injections and topical medications and proficient in euthanasia
- Recognize and monitor acceptable environmental conditions in animal holding Assist in training and development of newly hired technical staff.
- Assume responsibility for a specific function or task vital to vivarium operations or research

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- ALAT certification or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.
- Three years of animal facility experience or veterinary health care experience.
