Android QA Automation Engineer Job

ANDROID QA AUTOMATION ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT job opportunity with Yoh's client located in Cupertino, CA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- You will design, develop and execute automated testcases .
- Work with PMs and developers and pro-actively improve the test coverage.
- Troubleshoot and isolate issues, file bugs and work with developers in resolving them.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Five (5+) years of hands-on Quality Assurance
- Mobile testing experience (Android and Linux on tablets, smartphones etc)
- Hands-on experience in writing complete software test plans, test automation, test scripts etc.
- Strong programming experience in Shell, JavaScript, and one Scripting language such as Python, Perl or PHP.
- Excellent Debugging skills using ADB,GDB etc
- Self-starter working in an Agile development environment.
- Experience with UI Automation tools.
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
- Knowledge of SQLite is a plus
- Experience with code coverage, static analysis tools
- Ability to work on multiple projects, with multiple teams
