My client is looking for a Android Kernel Engineer join on an initial 6 month contract.

The Role:

- Android Kernel Engineer
- Feedback to Manager & Team

Required:

- Demonstrate Expert knowledge and experience of developing kernel device drivers for Android
- Expert knowledge of C/C++.
- Experience of working directly with Customer engineers to resolve issues.
- Experience of on-site working at remote customer sites.
- Proficiency in problem solving and debugging skills.
- Experience of triaging Customer bugs across a large software stack.

Desirable:

- Experience of software optimization and instrumentation.
- Experience with UNIX development environments.
- Experience in 2D/3D graphics technology and standards such as OpenGL, OpenGL ES, OpenVG, M3G, Direct3D Mobile, DirectX and EGL.
- Experience in large, multi-site software development projects.
- Experience of Agile software development.
