Our customer is an international telecommunications company, involved in the R&D of cutting-edge mobile technologies. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Android experienced Embedded Engineer

PROJECT START: 01.08.2014

PROJECT DURATION:31.12.14 initially

LOCATION: Munich

TASK DESCRIPTION:

-Reproducing and debugging of system issues by means of appropriate low level debug tools (e.g. tracer, HW debuggers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
-Optimization of the system with regard to CPU load, power consumption, connectivity bandwidth, memory footprint, etc.
-Contribute to system design with solutions, system relevant data, reviews
-Running short tests on the HW and investigation of failures
-Analysis reports of the crashes or system misbehaviors tickets assigned for investigation

YOUR SKILLS:

- solid Android knowhow architecture, protocol stack, framework is essential
- Linux kernel
- 2G, 3G, LTE ia a bonus
- embedded systems development , preferably in mobile telecommunications
-JNI (Java Native Interface)
- perience in transporting Linux software on to Android preferred
