Android Developer - Contract - January Start - Agile, TDD - London

ANDROID DEVELOPER - CONTRACT - JANUARY START - AGILE, TDD - LONDON

We're looking for a highly experienced Agile Android Developer to join a large, market leading software house in their central London offices. Despite the size, you will be working in a highly Agile, startup feel' environment.

The successful candidate will be expert in Android development having worked on some large, complex Android apps (must be able to show examples of your work). Someone who comes from a Java background would be ideal - likewise, someone who has a good understanding of the Server Side would be ideal.

Must have at least 5 years' experience in software development with at least 2 being in Android development.

Relevant market knowledge or experience is not a necessity, just someone who has worked on large apps with a high volume of use - ideally high profile apps.

- Android
- TDD (Test Driven Development)
- Agile environments (Scrum, KanBan, Lean, XP, Pair Programming, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, DevOps culture)
- Server Side knowledge
- NoSQL databases
- High volume, transactional applications
