Proteus Europe is searching for an Android developer based in Norway for an initial 3 month contract.
Our Client:-
A Technical IT company who offer solutions, services and products to customers who are developing products with high IT content or who need to streamline or automate their operations.
Your New role:-
For our telecom customer we are looking for one senior native Android developer
We are looking for one App developer to be part of our cross-functional team. You will be part of a team consisting of app developers, UX designers and business representatives. You will work on development of our App, where focus is to improve the customer experience in combination with our business goals.
The App will give the consumer the possibility to access information about their subscription, invoices etc and give them the opportunity to change their subscription and add services
Responsibilities:
Work tightly together with UX people in the team to design and develop apps.
Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
Work together with the rest of the team to improve the development process, from idea to production- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Work with outside data sources and APIs- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
Your Skills and Qualifications:-
Essential Skills:-
Android
Experience with Git
Experience with web service technologies such as REST, JSON, etc-
Experience with design/UX, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and other web development tools is a plus
Experience with or interest in agile development methods
