We are now in the fortunate position to be able to offer an exciting opportunity to an exceptional candidate who is looking to build upon an established career in the Financial Services Sector.

A top London Financial Institution is currently undergoing a period of rapid international expansion and as a consequence is looking to add a key member to their Strategy Department.

The position we are currently recruiting for is an Analytics Manager role. The ideal candidate would need to demonstrate a strong level of commercial acumen, a proven track record of success in the Financial Services Sector as well some specific technical skills including;

* A good degree in a numerate subject, preferably in a relevant subject
* At least 5 years' experience in the development of predictive models in a financial services company.
* Experience of implementing and testing champion/ challenger strategies to optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness
* Experienced and competent in the use of statistical packages e.g. SAS and model development environments.
* Experienced in the extraction and manipulation of data (proficient in tools like SQL) to support risk model development.
* Experience of operational strategy, identification of ways to improve performance through analytical output and associated implementation
* Experience of developing teams and leading change and working closely with other business areas to deliver against goals

The role will involve undertaking a number of key responsibilities including;

* Work with both the Investment and Servicing teams to build models / scorecards to allow more informed decision making
* Mentor and develop a small team of analysts
* Build Forecasting models for portfolio valuation and present the valuations.
* Assisting the local investment team on carrying out a thorough due diligence of the distressed portfolios being sold
* Work with the portfolio servicing team to develop analytics based models for improved profiling and segmentation of assets and prioritization & differentiation of customer treatments
* Highlight performance hot spots and recommend new areas for model development and/or policy enhancements
* Evaluate potential third party data sources for use in increasing the accuracy on portfolio valuations or predicting customer behaviors for optimal collections' actions
