Analytics Manager

Our client is a world leading technology firm looking for an Analytics manager/Analyst to join their talented team.

This role is a contract position which will run until June 2013 and is either based in Reading or London with travel between the two.

We are looking for a Mathematician/stats Analyst with technical skills to match. You will come from a strong analytical background being able to measure and optimise marketing communications.

You will be within a group that has the responsibility to look over the consumer, commercial and some advertising across all the clients business groups and products.

The team will be moving from a largely executionally focused and descriptive in nature to being more strategic and prescriptive to both the business groups and marketing teams.
The client is wanting an Analytics Manager/Analyst (depending on experience and person) to help drive forwards this more strategic approach.

The successful candidate will provide:
Delivery of an analytics framework that is easily digestible to the business by being accepted into the quarterly planning framework.
Adoption and adaptation of the analytical models under the framework from the Global team where suitable and creation where not suitable or there are gaps in the UK portfolio.
The building of quarterly CUBE's that answer to the next quarters stakeholders key questions.
The ability to bring analytics to life from a data visualization perspective.
The ability to drive demonstrable returns through the use of analytics as a key decision making platform of the business.
Analytics and Insight being seen as prescriptive rather than a descriptive practice.
