Analytical Chemist Job

ANALYTICAL CHEMIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Indianapolis, IN.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Chemistry
- cGMP
- UV/VIS spectroscopy

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Individual will perform standard and non-standard laboratory testing, gather and evaluate data, draw conclusions, and write reports, document information per procedures, and ensure the laboratory and instrumentation are in good working order.
- Individual will design and execute experiments of varying degrees of complexity and make recommendations from the results.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BA/BS in chemistry or biochemistry
- Three (3) plus years of experience working within a regulated industry
- Experience with UV/VIS spectroscopy, integra laboratory analyzers and GMP
- Individual must be able to work independently, as part of a team in a fast paced Lab Environment with excellent attention to detail and high quality results.
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills required.
- Excellent lab technique required.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Two (2) plus years of experience working with Integra, Hitachi, or similar laboratory analyzers (but not a med tech) - are strongly preferred
- Knowledge of enzyme assays or automated testing preferred.
- Knowledge of enzymes and proteins
- Validation experience
- SDS-Page experience
- Other analytical experience a plus
