Analyst Programmer - Java

Our client is a managed services provider, primarily dealing with clients within the public sector. Based in Brussels, they are now looking for a number of dynamic and enthusiastic IT professionals to join their rapidly growing team. This position is a 6-12 month contract with strong likelihood of further extension.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of commercial experience, 4 of which will have been within Java development specifically. Candidates with any less than 4 years of commercial Java experience will not be considered.

Experience of the following is also essential:
- UML or Case Tools
- Relational databases
- Internet application development

The following knowledge and skills are also required:
- Extensive knowledge of application development environments
- Good knowledge of design and development of web and multi-tier applications
- Modelling tools
- Software development methodologies
- Relational database systems

You will be required to work in multi-cultural teams, and so strong capability of integration into an international environment is extremely beneficial, as is excellent English communication skills (both written and spoken).
