JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our clients standard regarding IT Security for "Production IT". Production IT covers IT equipment and networks outside of the typical office environment, eg plants, terminals, telemetry devices, ships and laboratories. PC technology and electronic control devices to control and monitor production processes have been developed by our client widely throughout the company and our customers over the years. Through global networking many of these applications are exposed to increasingly sophisticated adversaries, potentially resulting in expensive damage and claims. The standard will have to be implemented for Industrial, Downstream and Supply & Trade in the course of 2013.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
The program manager will have to take stock of all relevant systems, prepare impact assessments and prioritizations, perform a gap analysis, prepare budgets and execute improvements according to an implementation plan.
- Discover and take stock of CPU-based process control systems, capture and document the underlying communication infrastructure
- Assess risks and impact around process control system failure and abuse
- Establish a gap analysis between the as-is situation and client's requirements
- Establish plan and budget options to close non-conformities
- Periodically report to stakeholders in management
SKILLS & COMPETENCES:
- Strong technical IT skills, incl. knowledge of network infrastructure and non-PC devices
- Strong experience in factory environments and with instrumentation and automation, incl. PLC, SCADA, DCS and other ICSs.
- Basic experience in project management, incl. milestone and risk management as well as stakeholder reporting
- Self-reliant, stress resilient, persistent
- Hands-on mentality, result oriented
- Prefers accurate, meticulous and systematic work over continuous creativity
- Good interpersonal skills, ie enjoys working together with colleagues from different segments, hierarchies, cultures, priorities and attitudes
- Willingness to travel to client sites across the world
- Fluent and experienced in English, additional languages are an asset
