ANALYST - FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING

An Analyst with strong IT, Accounting, and Finance experience is required to work on a 6 month contract with the possibility of extension) for prestigious financial services client based in central London.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a specialist business analyst to join the IT services area within the GBM area of a major finance house, to work on a range of Projects and BAU activities. The candidate must have experience in Global Transaction Banking (syndicated loans, bilateral deals, letters of credit/guarantees, etc.) as well as in Investment products (Rates, Fixed Income, Equities, etc.) and the accounting of these products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Requirements gathering, writing functional specifications, and working with developers to build solutions, and then test as well as some coordination of UAT.

The candidate must have experience in Loan IQ and Trade Innovation, and must have worked previously with general ledger systems. Spanish language skills are also highly desirable.

The role is based in central London. This is commutable from the Midlands, the Home Counties, the south east, and the west of England.
