Analyst/Developer

In this position you must be dedicated to making the user experience as intuitive as possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

- Define methodologies and conduct design research activities such as customer card sorting, surveys, task analysis, customer interviews, and field research in order to understand the context in which the target user will interact with the system and their needs, motivations, tasks, and goals.
- Usability test low- and high-fidelity prototypes both on-site and remotely.
- Thorough knowledge of and experience with multiple methods used in capturing user feedback and ability to know which methods to apply to best support a project.
- Data analysis and develop findings and recommendations to drive design.
- Develop personas, user scenarios, and other documents to inform design.
- Review wire frames and design specifications. Represent users' goals throughout development

SKILLS:

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor or Master of Science in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Cognitive Science, or related field.
- Must have experience with usability testing, planning and executing usability tests; collecting and analysing test results; preparing and presenting reports on the results of said usability tests.
- Experience with Human/Computer Interaction is preferred.
- 2 years of experience recruiting, planning, and conducting user research; analysing data; and developing findings and recommendations to drive design.
- Strong, analytical problem solving, decision-making skills.
- Understanding of user centered design principles.
- Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, OneNote.
- Knowledge with data-logging tools and systems such as Morae, Camtasia, or similar.
- Must be able to work independently and as a team to plan, script, recruit and run user testing sessions.
- Experience coordinating and directing usability tests for cross-departmental and multi-platform systems.
- Proven ability to design methodologies for gathering user data, interpreting the results, and translating them into solutions.
- Experience designing and conducting formative and summative usability tests in both formal and informal settings.
- Ability to prepare and present findings and recommendations in large and small group.
- Knowledge of Interaction Design and IA tools including Visio, HTML, Photoshop and Adobe C23
