Analyst Developer

Role Objective:
Providing support and problem solving services with respect to the SAP Business Intelligence Solution. Undertaking design and development tasks to provide solutions. Liaising with colleagues to analyse, develop test and implement fixes and enhancements. Design & Develop the data structures to meet BW Reporting Requirements. Design, develop and test the processes to extract, transform and load data to the BW Data Warehouse in a timely fashion. Standby and Callout is required.

Key Accountabilities:
Be part of the SAP Technical Team providing 2nd & 3rd Level Application support to STW Business users Works closely with the BI Reporting team to carry out development based on functional specification provided Responsible for managing the Triaging of Incidents and Service Requests within area of expertise and ownership as per established SLA's Good understanding of the rationale behind any custom developed/existing code in the respective SAP modules Carries out development and support work in their respective technical areas. Be a part of the Problem management team and work closely with the Solution Manager, Technical Manager and Service Desk to close Problem Records pertaining to his/her technical stream. Communicates effectively with the Business users, Technical and Functional team members and IS users for ensuring speedy and timely resolution of issues/problems. Supports transition from development to support, as and when any project/enhancement are moved to production and provide sign-off on completion of transition against agreed acceptance criteria. Create, review and approve documents and technical specs generated on an ongoing basis for changes made to the baseline documents received during transition. Covering standby on a rotary basis to deal with operational high priority issues. You may also on occasions be required by the Company to work longer hours in order to meet the requirements of the Business.

Experience:
Experience of SAP BW 7.0 and 3.5 Knowledge of Query Designer, Bex Analyser, Web Application Designer Knowledge of improving performance of BW processes. In-depth knowledge of BW Datamodelling, (Cubes, DSO's, Infoproviders) In-depth knowledge of extraction, transformations, and loading processes into BW Knowledge of best practice for housekeeping in BW environments Knowledge of ABAP concepts, Netweaver and associated technologies Knowledge or awareness of core requirements to maintain SAP environments.

Additional Information:
£350 per day
