ANALYST - DATA ANALYSIS, DATA MODELING, USER REQUIREMENTS
For a project with the European Commission we are looking for an Analyst with specific knowledge of Data Analysis and Data Modeling. The candidate will be a technical interface between the project leader, the application architects and the developers.
CONTEXT/INTRODUCTION
- This specific contract is for the provision of consulting services for the decision making process projects. It includes in particular e-Greffe, CIS-Net, Vista, ECI, Argus and NOAH projects.
- The e-Greffe project is an application which participates in the decisional process of the Commission, being the joint point of the procedures coming from different sources. This application will mainly enable the submission of acts and their successive revisions in an electronic way.
- The goal of the Argus Project is to support the European Commission with the establishment of a general rapid alert system (ARGUS) in order to enhance the capacity of the Institution to react quickly, efficiently and in a coordinated manner to crises that require action a European level.
- The NOAH project aims to support the business continuity plan of the Commission.
- The Vista project aims to publish all decision taken by the Commission.
- The ECI project aims to receive and manage the European citizen initiatives.
DESCRIPTION OF TASKS
- Analysis of user requirements and modelling of new information systems.
- Production of use case models, design and analysis models, implementation models
- Data analysis, Datamodelling.
- Follow up of the developments.
- Technical Interface between the project leader, the application architects and the developers.
- Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users
- Assistance in the testing, the technical documentation, the technical training, the deployment, the evaluation and the reporting
WORK ENVIRONMENT/CONDITIONS
The consulting work will involve working at the Commission premises in Brussels.
The candidate has to have very good knowledge in French and in English to write documentation and participate to meetings and users interview.
