NATS are recruiting for a Requirements Analyst on a Fixed Term Contract until March 2014. The role sits within the Information Management function and reports to the Head of IM. NATS are particularly interested in finding candidates who have experience in capturing requirements for applications/services to be delivered on a SharePoint 2010 platform

The Requirements Analyst role is to support Service Delivery to the NATS customer in accordance with their Business objectives and the Corporate Information Solutions (IS) and Information Management (IM) strategy. The Requirements Analyst role is also a key member of the SharePoint Project Team.

Principle Accountabilities:
Identify, capture, analyse, refine and validate requirements within the Business for providing standardised solutions to diverse business needs, supporting the Head of IM in ensuring value for money by maximising use of information assets (services, platforms, applications, supporting infrastructure, information architecture) and minimising time to market.

Work with NATS external suppliers in support of delivering services. Ensure supplier performance targets are met and ensure that current service levels are meeting the business needs. Ensure that contract/service changes are managed and implemented in accordance with NATS change procedures.

Measure and report service levels using standard performance metrics. Reporting on variances from service level agreements and targets, and assist in developing and implementing corrective action and continuous improvement plans.

Assist the relevant Service Delivery Manager in the proactive maintenance of information assets including change, configuration, release, capacity and performance management. Report on exceptions and escalate where SLA's are breached. Monitor the asset base to confirm that it remains fit for purpose. Work with business areas and suppliers to deliver solutions to meet business requirements and which conform to IS/IM strategy.

Assist the Head of IM in ensuring that the IS/IM strategy, Business Plan and Asset Management Plan is applied to Business Solutions and exceptions are escalated to the management team for a decision. Work with business process owners, key stakeholders and customers at various information governance boards to ensure that business requirements are fully understood and accommodated. Contribute to the Asset Management plans for the information assets.

Engage with key customers and process owners to clearly identify business requirements. Clarify where existing services/solutions are available to meet their needs. Persuade customers of the benefits of adopting standard solutions which conform to the IS/IM strategy. Provide feedback from customers for the creation of new standard solutions and to inform the IS/IM planning process.

QUALIFICATIONS, PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Experience of working in an IS/IM Service delivery organisation
Specialist analytical skills particular to the area of service delivery
Knowledge and experience of SharePoint 2010
Experience of working with external Suppliers in an outsourced environment
Experience of change management and the necessary presentation and influencing skills needed to communicate ideas successfully to NATS customers
Ability to interpret business needs and processes into requirements
Experience of coordinating/managing the delivery of solutions by external suppliers
Good communication skills and the ability to influence at the customer level and above
Experience of the full systems life cycle through planning, development, implementation and support
