AML TEAM MANAGER - QC

Do you have AML experience and strong people management skills?

A 3 month initial contract is available for an AML QC Team Manager based in the North West of England.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Assess high risk & complex customer requests to a variable less defined process
- Conduct in depth investigations to validate information available using a variety of resources
- Challenge the validity of collateral/evidence provided using specialist knowledge including the identification of fraudulent documents
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of investigations and evidence
- Ensure that a high quality body of evidence can be retrieved relating to decisions
- To evaluate and escalate where appropriate any suspicions
- Work within the Money laundering framework particularly in respect to tipping off and failure to report
- Provide specialist support advice and guidance to department based on own in depth knowledge
- Minimise impacts on legitimate customers
- Achieve requisite quality outcomes in line with mandatory standards
- Achieve and continuously improve key performance measures
- To understand the purpose and objectives of own role requirements and how this interfaces with the wider business risk appetite

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Confident and experienced in Financial Services and financial crime prevention
- An in depth knowledge of relevant banking regulation and legislation
- Strong people management skills
- QC Team management experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of AML/EDD procedures

RATE: £300-£400 PER DAY DEPENDENT UPON SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
