Amdocs Software Developer

Amdocs Developer (Senior): Networkers client urgently requires the skills of an Amdocs Developer with a minimum 4-5 years' experience (Minimum)

Job Outline

Our client is constructing a team of 10 total Java and C++ developers specialized in Amdocs Charging (a.k.a. Enabler) systems to support planned development activities during system upgrade to CES9 version.

The developer will be a member of the development team at the Prague Development Center site. He or she will be responsible for the relevant system part upgrade development, support of the relevant system part testing, and for eventual back-office support of the relevant system part in production.

Roles and Responsibilities:

In case of a developer:

-Analyse requirements
-Design and develop technical solutions
-Interact with testing teams
-Provide support with environment, deployment and validation activities in case of a need
-Provide back-office support for production in case of a need
-Perform regular root cause analysis of defects
-Suggest and perform reliable fixes for defects

In case of a GL for EPC+RLC+TC team:

-Lead the team of five-six developers
-Participate in design phases; analyse requirements, design solutions
-In case of a need, help the team with development
-Coordinate and manage the team's development, testing , defect fixing and after-care activities
-Interact with testing teams

-java, SOA, Oracle, "user-friendly GUI creation"; background in Mediation/AEM
-XML-related technologies, SOA; background in Invoicing
-strong GL skills, experience with event processing; background in EPC+RLC+TC
-Java, Oracle, .NET; background in EPC
-C++, Oracle, .NET; background in RLC
-.NET; background in Turbo Charging

Education:

-Tertiary qualifications in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent
